Christmas cards using the new SU White Christmas stamp set

I love this new stamp set in the Holiday catalog!

  

Here are 3 cards designs using this stamp set. I stamped the designs on the shimmery white cardstock, then added light sky shading using the Sky Blue stamp pad and an Aqua painter.The polar bear card pictured will be one of the 6 card designs we will be doing for the Christmas card class the first week in December.  Another favorite set from this catalog is the Festival of Trees, another card well be doing in that class.  To view the Holiday catalog, click on 'Shop with Me' in the right hand column of this blog.  You can also click there to see the regular catalog, weekly specials, and clearance rack.  The latter two change on a regular basis.  (Contact me if you'd like to place an order at any time). 

This Snowflake card is using three new items as well, the Letterpress Winter stamp set, the All Is Calm Specialty Designer Series Paper, and the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies.  This is a 'flip card'.  The snowflake flips from front side to back side when you open the card up.  As you can see, the thinlits dies set includes 9 dies,  including the words 'Joy', 'Snow', and 'Brrr'.  Thinlits are used with a Big Shot die cutting system.  The pieces you see can all be easily cut out to attach to cards, scrapbook pages, or any number of other craft projects.

October Scrapbook Class

The October Scrapbook class will be Thursday, Oct. 23rd.  Each class offers 3 double page layouts for you to choose from.  One page is $10, 2 for $18, and 3 for $25.  You can also do two layouts for $12.50 with $15 StampinUp purchase, or 3 layouts for free with $33 purchase.

October Technique Class

October's technique class will be on Thursday, Oct. 16th.  We will be making a box card.  This card measures 6 1/2 X 8 when folded out in box form, and folds flat to 5 1/2 X 6 1/2 to fit into an envelope to mail.  (Envelope included).  Technique projects are Free with $20 Stampin Up purchase.

                              There are two styles to choose from.
